Duck- Beatrice Evelyn King formerly of Bumpass ,Virginia died Thursday November 19, 2009 in Nags Head. Born November 13, 1929 in Louisa County Virginia, Beatrice was the daughter of the late William Jackson Sims and Ellen Frances Sims. She was also the beloved wife of the late Jack Allen King and was preceded in death by her three sisters Pearl Geddes, Hazel Stevens, and Carol Reid and brother, Gordon Sims. Beatrice will be remembered most for her loving devotion to her family.

Left to cherish the memory of Beatrice King is her daughter Judy Flagge and husband Paul of the Duck residence and her three grandchildren Bradley A. Pepper, William G. Flagge, and Rebecca E. Flagge.

Calling hours will be Sunday November 22, 2009 at from 2 to 4 pm at the Gallop Funeral Services Chapel in Nags Head. Interment will be private at Forsyth Memorial Park in Winston Salem.
