CARL JUNIOR SMITH
Carl Junior Smith, 81, passed away August 2, 2008. Carl and his wife,
Jane moved to the Outer Banks from Virginia, eight years ago to enjoy
their passion of fishing and gardening. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Sheila
Fucci and husband Joseph of Wilmington, NC, Carlotta Downey and husband
David, of Kill Devil Hills, step-daughter, Jenny Schutt and husband Mark
of Sterling, Virginia, five sisters, Beulah Richardson of Gafney, SC,
Emma Jean Horner and husband James of Shelbyville, IN, Ethel Smith of
Clifton Forge, VA, Edith Arritt and husband Ronald of Covington, VA,
Dorothy June Bowen and husband Theodore of Covington, 6 grandchildren, 8
great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at the First Christian Church in
Covington, on Saturday, August 9th at 1:00 in the afternoon. The family
will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
