H. ("Abby") Staab, 58, passed away in her home on Tuesday, August 19,
2008. She is survived by one son, George M. Staab, with whom she

Pennsylvania before she moved to North Carolina. Her passions in
life included her family, gardening and cooking. Abby could
prepare almost any meal you could desire. From high school, when
she won the Betty Crocker Homemaker Award to the numerous culinary wins
at assorted County Fairs, her love and enjoyment of cooking were obvious
to all. The family will sorely miss the wonderful creations that
came from her kitchen. The family will hold a memorial service at a future date. In lieu of
flowers, memorial tributes to Abby may be made to Dare Home Health and
Hospice at 109 Exeter Street, Manteo, North Carolina. Gallop Funeral Services, Inc. was
