Wanchese- Barry P. Quillin died February 28th suddenly at his home in Wanchese, He was 61 years of age. Born in Milford, Delaware Barry grew up in Laurel, Delaware and attended schools in the area. After High School Barry joined the Army and while serving received an accommodation medal for service in Europe. After departure from the Army, Barry joined National Geographic as a computer specialist until retirement.

Barry is survived by his wife Courtney from Wanchese, his son, Wren from Wanchese, his brother Bert from Westminster, Maryland, his two sister-in-laws, a Great Aunt, one brother-law, three nephews, five nieces, six great nephews, four great nieces, cousins, many wonderful friends and his beloved four legged companion, Raven.

A Memorial Service will be held at Gallop Funeral Services Chapel Saturday, March 6 at 11:00AM. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to the North Carolina Beach Buggy Association, P.O. Box 940, Manteo, NC 27954.
